Host For My New Blog.

August 24th, 2008

I have recently mentioned that I’ve just launched a new blog which will focus mainly on motherhood.

So effective last week, most of my parenting thoughts & raves and my very own daily account of baby rearing of my very own Asher will be posted there. I might still post a few parenting-related topics here but this blog will now mostly contain the “other side of me” topics, my random ramblings about anything under the sun and my interests on travel, shopping, gadgets, blogging, wifey, girly and all other women topics.

With that being said, I need to look for a cheap yet the best web hosting provider there is for that new online nook of mine. For now, it’s enjoying a free hosting from Blogger. I love Blogger especially that it’s free but there are certain features of Wordpress that they don’t offer. I’d like to shift blogging platforms however, using Wordpress (and all its cool plugins) means I need to avail paid web hosting services. Perhaps, in the next few months I’d be hooked with one but for now, I need to study and compare from among various host providers that would suit my needs. Thank goodness I came to know about Webhostingrating.com; comparative research about the top 10 web hosting providers is easier. For a non-techie person like me, their other articles about domains, hosting and even server systems are indeed helpful as they’re explained in simpler terms. If you are also on the hunt of hosting services, be sure to drop by on this site first before taking the big leap.

I wished I have known about Webhostinggeeks before I decided to sign up with my current web host in my other blog. I’m quite satisfied with the services of my current web host but I could have benefit more, would have known better and decided wiser if I checked the tips and comparison among the top web hosting providers provided by webhostinggeeks. This site is actually useful for those who’d like to have their sites hosted but have knowledge limitations about the ins and outs and what nots of web hosting consideration. Through their Top 10 Ranking of providers, you’ll get to know the best web host there is in terms of value and rates, bonus features, customer service quality and a whole lot more. Their independent reviews would also enable you to choose which host to consider depending on your requirements. They also have tutorials to use as reference should you need further information about web hosting. Upon seeing their comparison table, now I’m tempted to contract another web host service for a blog that I’ll be starting soon.

Web Hosting.

It’s been a month already since I’ve signed up with my web host and I could say that I’m quite satisfied with the service so far. Albeit I’ve experienced some acting up and slowing down issues in the beginning, they managed to address the issue immediately.

Speaking of web hosting, be sure to check out the web hosting tutorials at webhostrating.com. There are tons of helpful articles, pointers and reminders that one may refer to before deciding to jump into a web hosting plan especially to a low-priced one. One should make it a point to know your technical requirements like the volume of graphics to be used, approximate number of web pages, navigation themes and so forth. Although inexpensive, it might not be the appropriate plan or the plan’s features might not meet all your requirements. So the best tip, ask, do a research and look for reviews.
