We finally got to try the tigger costume on Asher last Saturday. We had a mini-photo shoot in the garage and albeit tiring, we had a blast including Asher. Just look at all his pictures..smiling and all. His Dad took the photos while me and everyone else were entertaining the little one so his smile will be captured. Later on, his daddy complained that it’s not easy at all to photograph babies…I didn’t agree. It’s much harder kaya na maging clown just to let the baby smile and amuse.

Asher’s so ready for his first ever trick or treat. Exciting!

Halloween Costumes.

Halloween is just around the corner and I’m sure your little kids (and you) are getting ecstatic and probably already preparing for it. It’s one of those yearly occasions that they are most looking forward to aside from their birthdays and Christmas celebrations because they get to wear their favorite character’s costume and collect candies and goodies through trick-or-treating. Often, Trick-or-Treat activities are organized and held in villages, malls and even at workplaces. When I was still working, the company sponsored a site wide Halloween Party for all the employees’ kids where they went floor hopping and raided all departments for loots of candies and chocolates. They were clad in cute (not scary) animal and cartoon character costumes and no one could resist their charm that the employees were all out in giving all those loots. According to a 2006 statistics, the top Halloween Childrens Costumes are as follows:
1. Princess
2. Pirate
3. Witch
4. Spider-Man
5. Superman / Disney Princess
6. Power Ranger
7. Pumpkin
8. Cat
9. Vampire

But with the yearly advent of new TV and movie characters, I’m sure this has changed. When I checked out a costume for my little Asher, I saw several cuter ones like those of Winnie the Pooh (I got the baby tigger costume for my son), Harry Potter, Blues Clues (which I noticed always runs out of stock fast), Shrek and many more. Of course, vampires and little devils ones are also always sought after.

It’s not only the kids who enjoy the Halloween. Nowadays, Adult Halloween Costumes also abound in malls because of late night halloween parties held. Popular trend in bar parties is for women to wear revealing Sexy Costumes taking advantage of the occasion to show off some skin.
