Awarded.

Mec gave me this award and she says:
I am awarding this to:
Mai ~ because when she decides to learn something, she usually becomes a PRO at it (like digiscrapping, paid blogging, and now part-time travel agent and full-time Mom)
Rules of this award are :
1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Nominate at least 7 other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your nominees on their blogs
Now it’s my turn to nominate a few from among so many favorite bloggers of mine:
1. Kathy - she’s been my constant YM chatmate lately who keeps me from getting bored online when work is scarce and twitter’s so quiet. We just recently discovered that we have similarities on so many things. Di ba mare?
2. Joy - I’m amazed how techie she is and with all the resources that she has about working at home. I so love how she blogs about her dialogue with her equally witty daughter.
3. Yen - A full-time mom/yaya/maid/wife with two sons living abroad, and I have to mention pro blogger and photographer - all rolled into one. Super woman..yes, that’s Yen!
4. Alpha - My ultimate source of tags, memes and fillers. She can’t be called the Queen of Memes for nothing. She takes great pictures and I love how she adores his son so much - the object in most of her photographs.
5. Peachy - Hmm..my shopping enabler. She hasn’t given birth to her daughter yet but the little princess already has a closet fully stuffed with a cute layette courtesy of the shopaholic Mommy. Lolz.
6. Jayme - My long time friend and grade school classmate/seatmate. The reason why a lot loves reading her blog because she’s indeed a good writer ever since. It’s her passion. Her musings on motherhood and marriage are inspiring.
7. Diane - Her overflowing creativity in all her scraps (paper and digital) is really commendable. She’s thoughtful and sweet…she’s the little sister I never had.
Sweet Awards.
One of my fave blogger friends, Yen, gave me this:

and this:

Thanks for the thoughfulness Yen. The feeling is actually mutual so I’m passing this back to you. Also, I’m passing this to: Litzie, Aggie, Alpha, Kathy, Mec, Ann, Rissa. I love hanging out in your sites, thus, you’d always see my mybloglog avatar on your blogs. ![]()
Rainy Saturday.

Blogging on a rainy Saturday here. Love it actually since it’s pretty cozy and cold…just enough while I storm through the drafts I made this weekend and catch up on entries here. I’m not that sleepy anymore since I crawled back to bed and slumbered this morning for two hours more just after I ate my breakfast. Lolz! If not for the headache from too much sleeping, I would have love to stay on the bed pa and just laze around. Haha!
Hubby and I are just waiting for the clock to tick at 4 pm. We’ll head to the hospital for my prenatal scheduled now-bi-monthly check up. Sheesh! Lapit na nga. By Feb, weekly visits na. Excited but at the same time worried..hope it won’t be that hard.
It seems I have a handful of online activities this week:
1. Do paid online tasks2.
Fridays Feast3.
Photohunt4.
Bloghop
5. Reply to those who left love on my previous entries6.
Organize my Flickr photos
7. Update my two other blogs8.
Check out new digiscrapping goodies9.
Blog about pregnancy updates
Seems I have a long list here huh…I better get started but let me see what can I finish pronto since I only have a few minutes to spare before we leave. See yah later.
Edited: All Done! Whew!

..wondering why with this blog title?
Life lately is overwhelming. Overwhelming in a sense that blessings have been constantly overflowing that’s leaving me amazed..astounded..wondering what good I’ve done to deserve them all.
2007 was indeed a great year for hubby and me.
Career wise, he got his well deserved promotion. He’s now a Senior Software Engineer (whoah! bigatin di ba?). While I, after having a brief contractual stint in the call center I’m working for, got absorbed into an A4 position (one notch less of a supervisory rank) and got regularized by October. This series of promotions, of course, is synonymous with “more savings” and it “synchronized” our financial status to a more stable one. Added to that, I got engaged with blog earning opportunities in March (thanks to the Bebot community!) which caught me offguard of how well can I earn by just blogging. “Extra bucks”..”sideline”…big time sideline, I’d say. I’d never thought I’d be able to buy myself my first semi-dslr cam (Canon S3 IS), hubby’s Ipod which was my Christmas gift to him, digiscrapping and blog stuffs, and a lot more.
No major sickness or illnesses..health wise, hubby, I and our families were A-okay.
Relationships wise, I am loving my husband even more as each day passes. I love being a wife..her wife. I’m sure he does likewise. Need I say more?
Real life (elementary & high school friends, college barkada, officemates) and online friends (CWL, blogger and Bebot friends) kept in touch constantly and I’m reminded over and over how I’m so lucky to have them. Reunions, mini-get togethers, lunch outs with colleagues, parties, e-mails, text messages received, eyeballs..if friends can only be monetized, I surely am a Millionaire!
And of course, the biggest blessing we’ve received last year was the news of a gift of life. After fervently praying, wishing and waiting for a year and a half, we finally conceived our first bundle of joy. Just a few more weeks, we’ll get to finally meet him up close and hold him. We can’t wait to see the greatest gift we’ve ever had.
2007 was indeed our best year yet in our marital life. There are even more blessings that are worth mentioning in here but I’m telling you the space and time won’t be enough to contain them all. There sure were downs and troubles but hey, this multitude of blessings alone entirely encompasses everything that I don’t have the time to worry and dwell on those woes.
I’m loving my life to bits…overwhelmed, amazed, taken aback..swept away.
And just how the song goes, I’m seeing my tomorrows in everyone’s eyes with all the love I’m getting. I truly am blessed.

For those of you who are wordpress users, I’m sure my entry’s title sounds familiar. I did intentionally unchange the default post title for this very first entry since I’d like to greet the blogging world of which I have been part for almost three years now (started blogging in ‘05). I’m indeed on my third year of sharing pieces of my life in the online community and since I can’t get enough, I’m opening my third blog…this time with a .com domain and with a new platform. I’m still maintaining my first two blogs: Love. Happiness. Us. (my wedding blog) and The Scrapaholic Me (my digiscrapping blog) but this will be my main personal blog from now on. As I embark a new journey in life as a first-time Mom soon, it is in here that I’ll entail the every bits of adventures and “misadventures” of my life.
I admit, I have a tendency of becoming a bad and negligent blogger at times, but hopefully with this new abode, I’ll be driven to be better. Since I’m using a new platform, I’m still ineptly manuevering and tinkering its features and tools (which I’m loving by the way). Hopefully, I’ll not mess things up here. I’m quite satisfied with this clean and simple look for my first theme in here. I’m still wondering though how to get those nice plug-ins that I stumble upon some of my blogger friends’ nooks. For those wordpress experts in my blogroll, how’d you that? Your tips would be greatly appreciated.
So there, this is my first entry in here. Actually, I was meaning to launch this last January 1 but due to some domain registration booboos I did, my blog’s debut got delayed. At any rate, I’m just glad that it’s up and running now..all pumped up to start receiving your precious peeks and visits. So to all my online friends, please update your blogrolls and add this domain. As I mentioned earlier, this will become my new personal blog. My two other blogs will remain but this will be updated more often.
Hello world…see yah around!
