Online Education
We attended a High School friend’s wedding last weekend and it was so nice to catch up with former classmates and friends you haven’t seen for quite some time. I’ve learned that a lot of them have really gone a long way profession and education wise. If not licensed doctors, architects, lawyers and engineers, a lot of them have attained their masteral degrees, too. Which got me a little left out for a while and thought what if I pursued right away my masteral plans way back then. But on the other hand, I feel no regret for whatever path I have chosen. I am a full time mom now and there’s nothing more fulfilling than that. Besides, it’s never too late to pursue my masteral plans anyway. With the continuous advancement of technology, people of today are blessed that they can enroll in an online university and achieve a graduate or even a postgraduate degree.
Locally, I know of one topnotch university that offers such but for those of you who still lack knowledge about how these online colleges work, check out the website of Western Governors University. It is a private, non-profit, online university with national and regional accreditations in the US. Initially, they cater to interested applicants residing in the US and selected Canada regions but in the long run, they may also be able to serve students worldwide. They offer a convenient, flexible education online designed specifically for working adults or for those who can thrive with a high degree of independence. A student learn through a dedicated mentor who’ll guide him/her in every step. As for the course offerings, they have various from education, business, information technology to health education and online nursing degrees. Such setup would also be perfect to stay at home moms, I believe. The good thing about this online education is its being flexible because they perfectly understand how busy life can get today.
