I’m so happy how my newest project has been doing great since I launched it earlier this month. Orders are continuously coming in and so far, I was able to make a ton of hair pieces already. Aside from taking care of the two kiddos, shopping materials online and fulfilling orders are what making me busy these past few days. My schedule is so tight that I can’t work on the marketing and prototype making in full blast. Definitely, taking care of the two kids will always be my priority. I’m so thankful that the husband extends his help whenever he can. His support is just amazing. He does the product shoot and like just last night, he was even the one who cut circle felt fabrics for the flower headbands I was doing while I attended to Ashley’s needs. Today (after I finish my other online work), we’ll be taking pictures of the new products. The sun’s out and the weather is just perfect for an outdoor shoot. The husband has prepared already the props we’ll be using like bean bag chairs, mats, picture frames, etc.

Everyone dreams of winning the lottery. It’s great to dream and to imagine, and it’s a lot of fun to play games that could come with big payoffs. But what if you actually win? Thinking about the dream and living it are vastly different. Find out the three best ways to spend your winnings, and learn how to avoid the three worst ways to spend the money.
Three Ways to Waste Your Lottery Winnings
Even smaller amounts of money shouldn’t be wasted. If you win the RewardIt Lotto or any other lottery, avoid certain traps. There are three things you shouldn’t do with your winnings, because they’ll do you more harm than good.
-
Gambling. There’s nothing wrong with taking a small chunk of change and going for a fun weekend in Las Vegas, but you shouldn’t gamble more than once and you should never go above a pre-established limit.
-
Cuisine. It might be nice to go out to the fanciest restaurant in town for the most expensive meal, but don’t do it every single night. Fancy eating isn’t a great way to spend lottery winnings, because once the meal is over the money is gone.
-
Collectibles. Comic books, action figures, stamps — it’s fun to collect things. But such things can depreciate in value over time. Don’t spend a large chunk of your lottery winnings on collectibles, because they’re not an easy investment to upkeep; you’re just making work for yourself.
The Ways to Get More Out of Your Lottery Winnings
Some of your lottery winnings should be spent on all those little luxuries you’ve been dreaming about, but you can get more out of your money. Spend your lottery winnings by doing something awesome with that unexpected money.
-
Invest. Secure your future with a strong investment. Buy something that will gain more value over time, like jewelry and bonds. Remember to keep your valuable items secure in a strong safe that’s been bolted to the floor, or in a bank deposit box.
-
Contribute. Set up a college scholarship fund in your name or in the name of a loved one you want to honor. The money will go on to help a young person get an education, and what’s more awesome than that?
-
Buy Land. If you’re going to buy anything with your lottery winnings, buy land. Look for something with a strong property value that’s not likely to decrease, with natural features like water and woods, and buy a paradise for you and your family.
There are lots of different ways to win lottery games. The RewardIt Lotto is a free way to earn free money that will make lots of little differences. It’s fun to dream, and when you win a lottery you can make some of your dreams come true. Try to avoid wasteful, fleeting spending, and focus on using your money in ways that will make a lasting difference in your life.

Finally, my new baby is here:
This is the project I’ve been busy with these past few months and finally, it has launched just last week. So far, so good. The response has been overwhelming and I’m so totally surprised and stoked. The first order I got was a bulk one and so here I am, busy as a bee as I try to work on them while overseeing the two little “kulits”. Dainty Ashley’s a one-man team so it’s pretty taxing..from sourcing supplies and materials (I wish I can source materials just from one central shop like www.reidsupply.com so it will be a lot easier), making them by hand, accepting and processing orders up to shipping. I’m trying to take it easy since I’m still not feeling well. Remember the sore throat I complained about in my previous post. Well, it led to severe sinusitis. I’m taking medications right now and I hope that by the end of this week, I’m well and up and about 100%.

Just a few more hours and the little ones will finally see their grannies. My folks are finally coming home after being an OFW for what seems like eternity. We’ve been looking forward to that day as this would mean that they’re just a drive away if we want to see them. This year’s Father’s Day will also be different as we’d be able to celebrate it with our Dad unlike in the previous years when we just greet him online or just send him a card during the pre-internet days. And of course, homecomings such as that would mean opening balikbayan boxes! I wonder if they were able to score a great jewelry deal for Ashley. It’s about time that my Dad can now just relax and enjoy the fruits of his hard labor abroad. Knowing that he’s one workaholic man, I’m so happy that he has finally decided to retire.
