HSBC Free Starbucks Promo is ♥
HSBC’s Free Starbucks Coffee Deal is, so far, the best promotion they ever had. A tall beverage is on them for every Php 2000 single receipt transaction presented at Starbucks. It’s far more supreme than those free promotional pens that other credit card companies give for every approved application. As I truly love having my Coffee Jelly fix and with all our frequent home stuffs and grocery shopping lately, this is one, I must say, an effective promotion. Since it started on April 1, I had about more than 10 free tall coffee drinks already and I still have one qualified charge slip up for redemption. Extending the promo duration is the sweetest. Now we still have more than a month to enjoy this. The best things in life are free, indeed. Even though, this technically comes with a purchase first, it’s still considered a worthwhile freebie because we always shop anyway. Besides, I love using my HSBC credit card because of the earned miles. “Sayang ang miles!” as their commercial goes.

Our credit information should be well kept and regarded highly with utmost care by financial and credit institutions. It is imperative that these companies exercise at all times the Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreement which is inherent for every financial transactions that we do. So what the TransUnion, a credit reporting company, did in the ‘90s was absolutely devastating and unethical. They illegally sold confidential credit information to target marketing companies, thus, it is a direct violation of the Federal Credit Reporting Act. So if you have applied credit in the US between 1987 and 2000, it is advisable to hear legal advise and assistance from a lawyer to file for a TransUnion Lawsuit. The partnership of O’Hanlon, McCollom & Demerath has this as their forte and they handle very well even the most complex TransUnion claims.

Two of our abroad-based friends were in town the previous weeks so my circle of Twitter Bebot friends met last weekend for a 2 fun-filled days eating, “camwhoring” and of course, chatting about just anything. It’s as if we don’t tweet on the web everyday. But as we all have a chatty and “gossipy” nature, we never run out of hot topics to talk about including business opportunities like how to buy gold coins, blog writing projects and other online freelance activities
We all met at Cyma Greenbelt for a Greek food feasting last Friday (July 16). The ladies in attendance were, Jacq and Caryl (the two balikbayans), Aggie, Alpha, Kathy, Litzie, Diane (and husband Jun), ate JennyL, Suzanne, Thea and Kaje. Jacq’s husband, Bong, and adorable daughter, Iyah, were also there. It’s my first time to dine in the said resto and I must say that my taste buds were impressed! After lunch, we proceeded to Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for dessert, caffeine overload and of course, some more loud chatting.
Hoping for more frequent get togethers like this, ladies!

The iPhone has been my long time wish. But for some reason, my desire isn’t that vehement anymore probably because I now have an iPod Touch. Suffice to say, it’s the on-the-go wifi internet is just what I’m after. My two year old, “jurassic” Nokia 7210 Supernova is still so much alive and is still surviving the fierce, destructive hands of the little one. Purchasing a new phone is not necessary at this point. But I’m still preparing myself as I’m sure that it won’t be long and this will finally retire. So I’m keeping myself up to date with the latest models like Blackberry phones and Smartphones by reading cell phone reviews. The Source is indeed a good resource for the best and most comprehensive reviews and ratings. It is not only limited to cellphones but it also has great reviews about other gadgets like cameras, computers, GPS, gaming and toys, TVs and a lot more.
Hoping For a “Day Off”
So many things to do, so little time. It’s a cliche that everyone mumbles from time to time. But in my case, it’s a statement that I say every day with all of the offline obligations and online works that I have. It’s very evident because I have not been idling in my FB account and have not been even able to update my main blog with personal posts. Whew! But being busy means only one thing…a robust paypal balance. Just what we need to help pay off the Little Mansion’s monthly amortizations. So bring it on!
However, I’ve also been yearning to have an all day, pampering “me” time. I so want to have a haircut in my favorite salon. Their stylists are truly beauty and hair experts. I wonder if they graduated from a Florida cosmetology School, the Regency Beauty Institute. It’s a beauty school that provides unique and exceptional cosmetology school in the US.
I sincerely hope to have my “day off” soon.
