Here’s the picture I took of him while tinkering and playing for the first time the drum toy that his Daddy bought him. As I’ve mentioned previously, he can now communicate in fragments. Here’s a sample discussion we normally have:
Mommy: Asher, Where’s Daddy?
Asher: “Office. Buy toy. Cher-cher”
When he suddenly remembers his Daddy at random times of the day, he would hand me my cellphone so we can call his Daddy.
Daddy: Hello, Asher!
Asher: Daddy! Buy toy! Buy e-peyn. Buy dam. Buy truck. Buy afwin. Buy A-yibee. (He’s asking his daddy to buy him an airplane, drum, truck, ice cream and Jollibee).
Looks like somebody’s planning to make our house a toy museum with all of the toys he wants to be bought for him, huh.
Another funny thing when he played his drum for the first time, he suddenly exclaimed:
Asher: “Daddy! Buy guitar!”
Great, looks like he’s building his own band, too.
I can’t believe that he’s this big now. It seems it was just yesterday when I was scouring for stretch mark cure after giving birth to him. And now, he’s grown a lot and smarter. He’s getting more talkative each day surprising us with his blossoming vocabulary. In no time, he’ll be able to improve his speech and pronunciation even more.
