Going For Destination Weddings
It won’t be surprising if the figures for destination weddings will shoot up in the months to come. The romantic and lovely beach weddings of recently wed local celebrities will surely inspire a lot of the engaged couples who are planning to get married soon. Planning for a destination wedding may be a little tedious but careful and strategic planning is the key to hold a magnificent and one of a kind wedding. One helpful tip is to look for all inclusive destination wedding packages in the preferred area. In the Caribbean, the Karisma Hotels offer romantic ceremony settings, value-added packages, efficient wedding planning services and ultra chic honeymoon suites. This way, the couple will have nothing but a hassle and headache-free planning for their most magical and special day.

Time really flies by fast especially when you’re enjoying. As anticipated, February was really one very busy month with all the homecomings and parties that kept me busy in my offline world. The fact that I haven’t been able to update my blogs with personal happenings is the very obvious proof how busy I’ve been. I’m afraid, it will still be such until the first two weeks of March because Asher and I will be celebrating our birthdays.
Anyhow, I’ll make a list of my online to do’s so I have a guide tomorrow (which is a free day..meaning, an online day for me) so I can work smoothly:
1. Compare ongoing life insurance rates online. I need to determine if there’s a need to upgrade my insurance package.
2. Blog about the following:
- CWL meet up with Mec and Wella
- The Twitter Bebots grand EB at Astoria
- Aggie and Martha’s Jollibee Party
- Pilgrimage to Manaoag
- Asher’s birthday celebration plans
- Summer swimming getaway with family plans
- Blood test results (TSH and FT4)
Wanting Relief
Hello everyone! I’m definitely back from a jampacked and overly fun weekend but I can’t say yet that I’m 100% ready to start my work week. I still have a party hangover from two parties that we attended last weekend. I’m still dead beat and exhausted. This migraine I’ve been enduring since this noon makes it even worse. And when you’re writer, moreso, an online writer, headaches cease the brain from functioning as the pain’s aggravated by staring so long on the computer screen. This back pain, I don’t know if it has something to do with my dextroscoliosis, is also distracting me so bad.

This picture and the website of Hassel Family Chiropractic based in West Des Moines, Iowa makes me want to go to a chiropractor for instant relief. I heard that they are a group of expert chiropractors who give natural relief of chronic pain, headaches, disc disorders and personal injury cases through their highly-effective Gonstead adjusting technique.

Just finished packing our things for the grand EB with my Twitter Bebot friends tomorrow. We’ll be spending the night also in the same hotel then proceed to the Twitter Bebots’ kids’ Jollibee party the next day. I’ll also be handing out the Black Friday loots Glo shopped for us, the shipping of which was coursed through me. So just imagine the mountain load of stuffs I packed for a two-day fun filled, endless festivities.
As I was arranging our BF loots, I realized how shopping bind us together. And if you are going to look at the stuffs, it’s very evident how selfless moms we are because they’re mostly clothing and toys for our kids.
Speaking of shopping and clothes, I realized that shopping for girls’ clothing is a lot enjoyable and engaging to do compared when shopping for boys. Well, for the simple reason that girls have more wardrobe pieces as compared to boy whose basics are just tees, shorts and pants. For girls, aside from the boys’ basics, they have miniskirts, scarves, dresses, tights and other accessories like headbands, bows and shoulder bags. Dolling up a little princess can be a lot of fun because it’s as if just playing with a Barbie doll, which I’m sure a lot of us enjoyed, too, when we were little. Shopping for such is even made more enjoyable through Shopwiki because one can find anything and everything for sale on the web.

Interestingly, these two “ups” kept me busy today.
After experiencing some thyrodism symptoms for quite some time now, I finally had my blood extracted today for TSH and FT4 testing. I was also subjected to a thyroid ultrasound. The results won’t be available until Tuesday so until then that I’d know if there really is some abnormalities with my hormone levels that’s causing me so skinny despite having a voracious appetite. I’m hoping for the best as I am aware how rigorous the treatment can be. Also, Asher and I are not ready to wean from breastfeeding just yet.
Thankful once again for HMOs for saving us from these expensive tests. I could have mine tested the other week at Healthway but unfortunately, our health card is not honored so I had to defer the test and transferred to Patient First. As always, a patient’s waiting time at PF takes quiet long. Luckily I had a seatmate who was quite entertaining. Through her loud blaring voice, I came to know her profession, the concerns of her clients, where and when’s their appointment and that which term insurance package her client wishes to have.
At 11 am, I rushed to Greenbelt and met two of my CWL friends: Mec and Wella, who’s on vacation from the US. Over a sumptuous lunch at Recipes, we caught up with each others’ lives and continued the endless chit-chatting at Razon’s. Thanks for the treat, pasalubong and kwentos, ladies. I wish we can meet up again soon, this time, with our other CWL sisses.
