Friday To Do’s.

July 30th, 2009

Actually, I just have two in my To Do List for tomorrow.

1. Finally..finally..finally work on some paper works I’ve been putting off for sooooooo long. The husband must be happy about this.
2. Finish all pending online tasks so I need not work on weekend.

And..okay make that 3.

3. Upload recent pictures to unload the cam’s memory. Baka abutin na naman ng one month before I update my Flickr and FB albums.

Hoping for a productive Friday tomorrow.

Where Have They Gone?

July 30th, 2009

We have scheduled a meet up with my long time friends on Sunday. It’s been a while since we last saw each other so I’m sure that someone will comment again how thinner and slimmer I look now. I bet one will ask what pills for weight loss do I take. But it’s okay, I need not answer because the moment they witness how little A has become more active and mobile now, they would surely know right away where have my weight and fats gone.

Trick Or Treat!

July 30th, 2009

Invitations Halloween During Halloween, the activity that kids look forward to the most is the Trick or Treat. I learned that this practice dates back in the Middle Ages where poor folks would go door to door on November 1, receiving food in return for prayers for the dead loved ones on All Souls Day. I bet there were no Halloween Party Invitations handed out that time, otherwise, people then would have to stock tons of foods for the poor house-hopping folks. That is, perhaps, exactly the reason why in modern times, people just give candies to trick or treating kids which are much cheaper.

Speaking of Halloween Celebrations and Halloween Party Invitations, would you believe that the Halloween is just 3 months away? Wasn’t yesterday just January? Well, before time runs fast again right in front of us, it’s never too early to start preparing for parties and Party Invitations Halloween. There are Halloween Costume Invitations online that can be customized and ordered easily. For your, Halloween Invitation requirements, check out Cards Shoppe’s gallery of unique and creative layouts.

True Giving.

July 30th, 2009

If only Santino is right here beside me, he could have given me some enlightening words na from Bro. Yes, I need a whack on the head right now. He could have reminded me about the true meaning of “giving”.

Well, let’s admit it. Most of the time, we can’t help ourselves to hope and expect for something in return when we give. Or when giving, we are readying our ears to hear the words “thank you” and we feel bad, if we don’t. We abhor “ingratos”….”hmph, di man lang nag thank you.” Or sometimes, we nag and seemingly “collect” what we’ve done good or favors in the past. Or, we give with the belief of karma, that we’ll reap the good deeds we’ve done but if we don’t, we stop being kind.

But then…we’re just human beings with emotions. There are those kasi na di man lang marunong mahiya.

Haha! I told you, I need Bro’s tapik-tapik. Bro, please help me. Please help them too..

“To give and not expect return, that is what lies at the heart of love”
