Fridays Feast 196.

My feast’s a day late but before I totally forget, here it is:

Appetizer
When was the last time you had your hair cut/trimmed?
Just the other day. I’m now sporting a lot shorter and “layered” styled hair.

Soup
Name one thing you miss about being a child.
Not having to work to earn for a living.

Salad
Pick one: butter, margarine, olive oil.
Butter.

Main Course
If you could learn another language, which one would you pick, and why?
Spanish. The easiest to learn since it has some similarities with our language.

Dessert
Finish this sentence: In 5 years I expect to be…
more financially stable and taking care of two kids.

I have tons of tags to work on but I need to do some canvassing of condo hotels within the area first for a balikbayan friend. She’ll temporarily stay in the metro before going home to the province.

Fridays Feast 195.

Appetizer
What is the weather like today where you live?
Sunny. Glad that we’ll have a sunny weekend this time. I think typhoon Frank is now wreaking havoc somewhere in China.

Soup
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how career-minded are you?
With my recent resignation from my job, obviously I have taken my career on to the back seat and family is my topmost priority at the moment. If motherhood is considered a career then I’d be a 10.

Salad
What type of window coverings do you have in your home? Blinds, curtains, shutters, etc.?
Curtains.

Main Course
Name something that instantly cheers you up.
Toothless grin from my little man.

Dessert
How many times do you hit the snooze button on a typical morning?
Now, just once. I’ve changed since I became a Mom. But way back my student years, everyone’s already up and pissed off from the non-stop snoozing of my alarm and yet I’m still wandering in my dreams. I was that sleepyhead really.

Hmmm…a 6? Bring me back to elementary school to refresh my memory.

We don’t experience tornados…thank God.

Fridays Feast 193.

Appetizer
Do you consider yourself to be an optimist or a pessimist?
I have a tendency to become a pessimist but thanks to my dearest hubby who boosts my spirits up when I feel sooooo low.

Soup
What is your favorite color of ink to write with?
Black.

Salad
How often do you get a manicure or pedicure? Do you do them yourself or go to a salon and pay for them?
Very seldom. I prefer my nails just cleanly trimmed and colorless.

Main Course
Have you ever won anything online? If so, what was it?
Yes, digital scrapbooking goodies.

Dessert
In which room in your house do you keep your home computer?
Our desktop PC is in the living room. If without the wireless router, I also use my lappy in the living room as well, near the modem. This was the reason why we almost considered video wall rentals so we can watch online movies in the bedroom.

Fridays Feast: 191

I know my feast is kinda late..but I don’t want to miss this weekly prompt.

Appetizer
What is the nearest big city to your home?
I live in Makati so the nearest big city, I think, is Manila.

Soup
On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being highest, how well do you keep secrets?
Hmmm…I’m perhaps 9. But with my hubby, it’s 5..I can’t keep any secrets from him.

Salad
Describe your hair (color, texture, length).
Long, black, wavy. I’ve been planning to have a cut..but it always gets postponed. I’m thinking of getting it rebonded again, too.

Main Course
What kind of driver are you? Courteous? Aggressive? Slow?
I don’t drive.

Dessert
When was the last time you had a really bad week?
Last week. It’s not actually that bad. It’s my first week back at work..I guess I was just so not in the mood to get back after two months of long vacation.
